Playing and learning at 5 weeks

At 5 weeks Bella spends her mornings playing with her baby einstein play yard that Grandpa Sergio and Grandma Wendy bought for her. She is aware of her surroundings and loves to look around. She spends a good 20-30 minutes just looking and playing in her play pen. She is starting to koo and aww...its so exciting seeing her grow!

Isabella turns 1 month!!!

Well we made it through one solid month...and although it was a slow healing process for mommy, overall the first month went better than we expected as new parents. Bella is awesome, she is now sleeping 4-5 hours at night (unless she has gas pains), and I think she is slowly getting day and night understood! This month has been filled with lots of visitors and love from all around. Bella loves to play in her baby einstein play yard, she koos and awws when she plays. She is able to follow us around by sight and she recognizes new voices. Shes a great eater (poor momma can't keep up) and she is now 9 lbs! We are looking forward to her new changes in the next few months!!

Twelve years ago I found a companion who I loved to be around. I knew she was special from the first day we started to get to know each other. We started our journey filling it with many beautiful memories. We have been married for seven years now and have had trials and tribualtions. Our life together has created a beautiful outline that is forever in our thoughts. If one were to ask me what I think of Monica this is what I would tell them. My wife (it's wonderful to say that) is strong, respectful to everyone, has a very generous heart, is a great leader, and has a very special touch with children. She has taught me many things in our time together and continues to do so. We share many things together like biking on the trails, live outdoor music, dancing, spurs basketball, fall football (Hook 'Em), sitting outside on a nice evening grilling hanging out with friends and family, and open to anything new. Being married you also learn to participate in your spouses hobbies and interests. If you don't you may never know that you may like theatrical plays. Through all the love, laughter, tears, and disagreements. I would proudly say that I would do it all over again just to be with her:)

When I said "I do" 8 years ago, I didn't know what to expect out of our life together. All I knew was that I was head over heels w/ this handsome hunk I now call my husband! I was a young 20 yr old and we were living the life! Then "life" really hit us. We've had our hardships and our glorious days, and through them all Jesus has always been by my side. No matter the struggles we face, he leads us forward with strength and determination. He is fun to be around, caring and considerate, and always willing to help others. The best thing about him is that he cooks great meals (yum), and has taught me a lot about gardening. We both enjoy outdoor activities, whether its hiking and exploring new places, cooking out and watching sports games, or just sitting out in our backyard patio that we built! We enjoy the company of our families, and we anxiously await the blessing of our own family. After 11 yrs of being his best friend, I am still truly deeply, madly in love w/with him.
