Yay we made it to 39 weeks! God is so good! The road to get here was long but so worth it. Today is Saturday the 4th and Isabella is due by next Sunday! We will see if she decides to come before then...so exciting! Jesus has been a nervous wreck since yesterday, with an upset stomach and his nesting instincts have kicked into fast drive. I woke up this morning to him cleaning and organizing the whole house...not like him at all! I too have had my nesting moments, but I get tired and out of breath easily. We are making it a point to spend every moment together with good memories from here till she comes as a special reminder. Last night we went on a icecream date, yum! Then Jesus took me shopping for a last minute gift to pamper myself with, I decided on a comfy robe, something I would never spend the money on for myself. We watched a movie together and enjoyed eachothers company. Unfortunatley, we were suppose to go out on a picnic this afternoon, but the rain and cold weather kept us indoors.
After 11 years of just us as a couple, we are very curious of how we will adjust to sharing our love, our home, and our life with our baby. I'm sure it will be simple and natural, we will just have to make it a point to REALLY take opportunities to have date nights when we can! Good thing we have lots of babysitters :)
